Biogeochemistry

I have worked on a number of biogeochemical projects: 

2023-Present ArcticAir project which aims to characterize airborne communities in the Arctic region, identify potential drivers, determine the risks of microbial invasion and monitor the interannual variability of these airborne communities and the associated environmental drivers.

2023-25 Biochemical weathering cycles beneath the Greenland Ice Sheet project which aims to understand the chemistry and biology under low flow hydrologic conditions beneath the Greenland Ice Sheet from naturally emerging subglacial waters.

2021-23 Geomorphological influence on microbial communities project looked at the impact of surging behaviour and landform development on microbial community structure and the production of protective biofilms.
